Article 1 – Definitions

To keep things clear throughout this document, here's what a few key terms mean:

  • Return window: the timeframe in which a customer can send back an eligible item
  • Customer: an individual buying from Nadar Collective for personal, non-commercial use
  • Ongoing agreement: any arrangement involving products or services delivered over time
  • Right of return: a customer's ability to cancel or return an eligible order within our stated window
  • Nadar Collective: the online store operating at www.nadarcollective.com
  • Online agreement: any agreement formed between Nadar Collective and a customer through digital means, without either party being physically present

Article 3 – Scope

These Terms apply to every offer, order, and agreement made through our website. By placing an order with us, you're confirming that you've read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Article 4 – Our Products & Offers

Everything listed on our site is subject to availability and can be updated or removed at any time without notice.

We do our best to keep product descriptions, images, and pricing accurate, though small variations in colour, appearance, or packaging can happen.

All prices on our site are shown in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

Article 5 – How an Order Becomes Final

An agreement to purchase is formed once we've accepted your order and your payment has gone through successfully.

You'll get a confirmation email once your order is placed — though this doesn't guarantee the item is in stock. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where necessary, in line with applicable law.

Article 6 – Returning an Item

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unused
  • Unwashed
  • In original packaging, tags still attached

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, except where consumer protection law says otherwise.

Article 7 – Refunds on Returns

Once we've received and inspected your returned item, approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days.

Only items meeting our return conditions qualify for a refund. Shipping fees aren't refundable unless the return happened because of an error on our end.

Article 8 – Shipping Internationally, Customs & Duties

[If applicable: We ship to customers in a number of countries. International orders may come with customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other government charges depending on where they're headed — these are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout.

We're not responsible for delays caused by customs, import processes, carrier issues, or government agencies. It's on the customer to confirm an item can legally be imported into their country. Declining to pay customs fees or refusing delivery doesn't automatically qualify for a refund.] (Remove or adjust if Canada-only.)

Article 9 – How Payments Work

All payments go through trusted, secure third-party providers. By completing a purchase, you're authorizing that provider to process your chosen payment method.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.

Article 10 – Product Quality & Warranty

We aim for every product to match its description and meet a reasonable quality standard.

Received something defective, damaged, or wrong? Reach out within 7 days of delivery with photos showing the issue. This policy doesn't cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse.

Article 11 – Delivery

Delivery estimates are a guide, not a guarantee. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days and arrive within the timeframe shown at checkout.

Delays from weather, customs, courier issues, holidays, or other factors outside our control don't automatically qualify for a refund or cancellation. Once your order is delivered to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for it passes to you.

Article 12 – Got a Complaint?

Reach out to info@nadarcollective.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days and will work with you to resolve things as quickly as we can.

Article 13 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Province — confirm which one, e.g. Ontario/BC] and the federal laws of Canada. Where legally permitted, disputes will be handled by the appropriate courts in that province.

Nothing here overrides any rights you're entitled to under Canadian consumer protection law.
